Trek Itinerary

•Sari village is 190 km away from Rishikesh and takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach.
 
•Most part of the journey traverses the mountainside, with the river flowing below you. (Don’t forget to take pictures at the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers at Devprayag The Ganga Formation).
 
•Arrival at Sari village, the estimate arrival time is around 5-6 pm.
 
•Go for a acclimatize walk and then enjoy the delicious dinner with your mates.
•After breakfast, we will drive to Chopta, the road head of Tungnath temple.
 
•Trek distance is 5 km one side and 1 km to Chandrashila, which will take around 6 hours approx to climb.
 
•The trek is pleasant but is a gradual steep climb.
 
•It ascends sharply towards the end. You can also notice a change in the landscape due to an increase in altitude.
 
•It offers perfect panoramic views of remarkable peaks of Uttarakhand such as Kedarnath, Mandani, Chaukhamba, etc.
 
•After darshan, we will start back trekking to reach our today's destination for delicious dinner which will take around 4 hours to reach and that's it for the day.
 
•Check in your rooms ,have dinner and rest ,as we will be moving ahead for our last activity tommorow morning.
•Starting our day early, after having warm breakfast we will begin the trek towards Deoriyatal around 2.5 km from the stay.
