Our Story

These are the Core Values that drive our determination to
Goalpines

The most important characteristic we search for in team members is humility. We do not accept applicants that are highly skilled but not humble. This is a trait shared by all Goalpines team members, whether they be our founders, Trek Leaders, or local staff members. It brings everyone back to earth, makes them open to comments, and eager to learn. We place a high priority on this.

We require trekkers to be physically fit for our hikes. It is also true for all of us at Goalpines. If we aren’t fit, we have no right to expect trekkers to be fit on our hikes. Fitness is a way of life for us. This implies that everyone follows a fitness regimen and is always prepared to embark on a Himalayan journey the next day. Even a member of the content crew.

We at Goalpines have taken on the duty of implementing methods that will make trekking more sustainable. We want to not only “Leave No Trace,” but also to leave better trails. This is accomplished through our Green Trails project. And the greatest place to start is right at home. As a result, everyone at Goalpines is a champion of sustainability. We buy few or no packaged foods and don’t use disposables. We live simple lives.

Goalpines is well-known for its compassion. We go out of our way to look after our trekkers, coworkers, and organization. It is yet another manifestation of humility. This is evident in every engagement with Goalpines, as our staff members go out of their way to care, always putting others first. Even people who are not walking with us love this aspect of Goalpines.
