Overview
Kalanag Expedition, also known as Black Peak Expedition. It is one of the greatest trips that has become the most popular nowadays. Everyone’s desire is to climb this peak. It is located in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district. Swargarohini Peak and Bandarpoonch are linked by this. This summit stands at a height of 6387 metres. The excursion begins at Sankri Base Camp. The base camp for this hike is Ruinsara Tal and Kyarkoti. Because of the hill in front, the snow does not stop, it appears to be in the shape of a snake. From the front, it seems to be black. This is why the peak is known as Kalanag. The Black Mountain Expedition is called as “Kala Nag” in the local tongue because the top half of the peak resembles a Black Cobra. At an elevation of 6,387 metres, this is the tallest mountain in the Saraswati Mountain Range, located near Ruinsara Valley. Bandarpoonch (I) (6316 m) and Hanuman Parvat (Bandarpoonch II) are two further summits (6,102 m). A lovely mountain range is formed here by Swargarohini and Bandarpoonch.
